Why "Getting Ready" Coverage The Morning of Your Wedding is SO IMPORTANT

Hi All!

Happy Sunday! Seems like it's been eon's since I've last been on this space! Thanks for joining me!

If you're new here, HELLO! I'm Geegee! Your FAVORITE wedding photography/cinematography team!

After being in the wedding space for over 7 years I've learned a thing or two about wedding days and the way they flow!

If you're planning a wedding for the first time (which a lot of my couples are) this blog post is for you!

Here are 3 TOP REASONS why you NEED to start your Wedding Day Photo/Cinema Coverage with "Getting Ready".

  1. This is the only moment in the entire day you and your future hubby/wifey will NOT be together. Think about it... you'll expereince the whole day side to side

  2. Your most intimate and heartfelt moments before you become a union happen during this time period. Your final cheers with your girls in the hotel room, your mom helping zip up your wedding dress and your sister clipping your veil in your hair, all within this tiny getting ready timeframe! Its intimate, special and it only happens ONCE.

  3. The way we story tell is from start to finish, the day starts with you getting ready, and finishes with your exit or it'll end with you and your new spouse dancing the night away, either way your story starts with getting ready details. Your flatlays, details of your dress on your pretty hanger, your rings in their box, your shoes, your wedding scents, your tiny and heartfelt and well thought out details all make their way into your wedding gallery and film all in this tiny period of time.

If you for a second are thinking, I don't really need the photo/cinema team there in the morning during getting ready, re-think it again. You'll never ever have these moments back, the start of the day is just as important as the middle or end of the night. You'll thank me a million times over, don't skip out on these gorgeous moments and details. Your wedding day love story and how it's told depends on it. We can't wait to be there with you every step of the way, from start to finish.

We're about halfway through wedding season and we're excited for the final half of weddings to come this year, also HELLO ALMOST FALL! Thanks for reading thus far. xoxoxoxox
