Wedding Details tell their own story, what will your details tell? I've put together a list of 10 Details your wedding gallery must have to better tell your story. I like to say less, and show more š
1. Your Dress- Before you actually wear it š It looks the very best on you, but once it's on it takes on a different meaning. It becomes part of you and part of your day. Your dress says a lot more about you than you can say with words. It gives your essence, your style, your energy and your aesthetic before you can say a word. Once it's on you, the realness of the day starts! It carries it's own magic on a hanger hung somewhere unique and once it's off the hanger and on you.. wowwwwwww! It get's very real! As a story teller, I LOVE to show how things unfold. Opt for Getting ready pictures, and make sure your dress and veil get photographed before you put it all on. You'll thank me later š
2. Shoes/Bridal Accesories/Cuff Links/Any Special Details you'll be wearing- Your wedding shoes, your wedding ring box, your diamond earrings, your grooms custom cuff links, special socks, embroiled hanker-chief and more. These details are part of your essence of your wedding day and deserve their own recognition.
3. Florals- You handpicked every single flower that is on your bouquet, bridesmaids arrangements, table centerpieces and ceremony head pieces. You carefully chose every flower, shade and style. Flowers tell their own unique story with their eccentric beauty. They smell amazing, they make people feel absolutely beautiful and special when they're around and they're one of the most important parts of a wedding (I FEEL). Your florals tell their own story, I'll capture them exactly the way you intended them to be captured!
4. Custom Gifts/Heirlooms- Are you wearing special jewelry on your day? An Heirloom grandma gave you on your 5th birthday? Or your Fiance's family's stone on your necklace? These are important details and moments! Make sure to let your team know you'll be wearing them ahead of time. These are the details that make your wedding YOURS āØ
5. Guests Table Setting - You won't be sitting here at all, but your guests will. && You've just spent the last 12 months planning the linen colors, florals, cutlery options and paying extra money for those ghost chairs! lol Your guest table setup is a must in your wedding photo gallery!
6. Sweetheart table- YOUR TABLE š This is where your first dinner as Mr. and Mrs. will take place. SPECIAL MOMENT ALERT! Make sure your Photog snags a photo of you two pre-dinner sitting in your special Sweetheart Area š
7. Wedding Favors- You're so thoughtful on thanking your guests, making sure these details are captured means your favors will live on forever! Especially if they're personalized and unique to you two as a couple!
8. Ceremony Setup- In 50 year's these pictures will matter ALOT. The vows are never forgotten, but maybe these little details might be! I personally love looking at my wedding photos and seeing empty ceremony chairs and then seeing the chairs full during the ceremony, it shows how the day unfolds and better tells the story!
9. Getting Ready with your Parents. You're their baby, this day is super important for them too. These moments are extremely special, and it's a great way of incorporating them into your day in a special way.
10. Bridal Party ALL TOGETHER- Your peeps are elated to be alongside you on your best day. Every single person that's included is special to you and your honey in different ways. Family, Childhood friends, Co-workers and Besties! They are pivotal to your special day and trust me they are the group of people that can make you smile at any given moment. The energy is real on Wedding Days and your group will always bring it!
I feel like telling a story through photos is key with emotion, and filled with just so much that is left to the imagination. Whats one thing your imagination tells you about this day? Besides how beautiful and dreamy it all was! šš
